breakfast

hmmm...i love a good breakfast. for me, its really hard to beat potatoes with an egg over easy for breakfast. with the egg cooked just right, you get that gooey yolk running onto the dry potatoes, which is nothing short of spectacular. i always say: if you want me to get up on time in the morning, just make me my breakfast. 

this time we put sweet potatoes in with the new potatoes which is delish:)

also on the topic of breakfast, i've realized that finding a good pastry shop is always a must when visiting a big city (like san francisco or london). in cincinnati, my favorite is the Bonbonnerie. they have the most amazing chocolate croissants:)

in san francisco, tartine was by far our favorite bakery. seriously, you need to try it. everything there was wonderful, and their cookbooks are quite nice too.
