Accidents Can Taste Real Good

I just recently visited my cousins', when I was there I baked a batch of chocolate chip cookies. When I finished making the batter, I scooped the dough onto the cookie sheet.  When I was about to put the tray into the oven, my cousin pointed out that I had forgotten to put the flour, baking soda, and salt into the dough. So I had to scoop the dough back into the bowl and stir in the flour mixture by hand, whereas I usually use the mixer. Though it required a little extra work, it tasted alot better. The volume of the cookie was a lot thicker which made the cookie look beautiful.

I hope you enjoy this delicious chocolate chip cookie recipe I made, inspired by the Nestles Toll House chocolate chip cookie recipe.
Ingredients:
2-1/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup of butter (2 sticks)
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1-1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 milk chocolate candy bars chopped into small chunks
1 dark chocolate candy bar chopped into small chunks

Directions:
preheat oven to 375 degrees
combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. beat butter in the mixture until creamy then add sugar and brown sugar to the mix and beat until well combined then add vanilla and one at a time, add the two eggs. on a cutting board, chop the candy bars into small chunks then hand mix them into the  batter. Next hand mix the flour mixture into the batter until completely combined.

Roll a half tablespoon into a smooth ball with your hands.  This makes the cookies a consistent size and shape, so the cookies bake the way you like them every time. Put the dough balls on to a  cookie sheet and bake for 8 minutes. Once the cookies are done take them out of the oven and let them sit for 1 minute on the cookie sheet then transfer them onto a cooling rack and let cool for about 10 minutes.  When cooled, place in a sealed bag or sealed container.
